Professor Hans Peter Dietz is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and RANZCOG-certified subspecialist in Urogynaecology, working in Sydney. He is an internationally renowned expert in pelvic floor imaging. His work is of fundamental importance as a substantial proportion of women delivering their first child vaginally suffer extensive damage to pelvic floor structures, which can result in pelvic organ prolapse and/or urinary or fecal incontinence, often many years after childbirth, which can be extremely distressing. He has developed non-invasive imaging techniques for the evaluation of women with prolapse, obstructed defecation and fecal incontinence. His group has been the first to diagnose and to attempt the repair of levator trauma during labour.

Sally Collins is a Consultant Obstetrician subspecialising in Fetal Medicine and abnormally adherent and invasive placenta. She graduated in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford and trained within the Oxford Deanery. During her training she completed a Doctorate in Obstetric Ultrasound in the Nuffield Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is currently working with both national and international groups including the RCOG and NHS England to develop guidelines for the diagnosis and management of Abnormally Invasive Placenta (AIP) and am also the UK representative and Secretary to the European Working Group on AIP.

Prof Shaun Brennecke occupies the University of Melbourne Dunbar Hooper Chair of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. He is also the Director of the Department of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Head of the Pregnancy Research Centre at the Hospital. Prof Brennecke’s research interests focus on Maternal-Fetal Medicine, especially preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, placental function, preterm labour, reproductive tissue stem cells, miscarriage, the endocrinology of human pregnancy and parturition, the assessment of fetal welfare, and factors influencing maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality.

Dorte Glintborg is an endocrinologist and consultant at Odense University Hospital with sub-specialty in pituitary, gonadal and adrenal diseases. She is also an associate professor at the University of Southern Denmark with 20% research position for research within the fields of male hypogonadism and PCOS. Her scientific focus areas are hirsutism and PCOS, pituitary and adrenal diseases, male hypogonadism. She is a member of Nordic PCOS awareness group and has conducted important studies on PCOS and pregnancy and PCOS and health risks related to the metabolic syndrome.

Professor Jason Gardosi, is an obstetrician and director of the Perinatal Institute in Birmingham, UK – a multiprofessional not-for-profit organisation he set up in 2013 with the aim to enhance quality and safety in maternity care (www.perinatal.org.uk). The Institute is recipient of consecutive national Patient Safety Awards (2013, 2014, 2015), the BMJ Awards for Clinical Leadership (2015), the Queen*s Award for Enterprise/Innovation (2016) for reducing stillbirth rates in England, and a Princess Royal Training Award (2018) for its comprehensive education & training programme.
