\n Professor Christina Fotopoulou<\/strong> is a Consultant Gynecological Oncologist at Imperial College London Healthcare Trust in Queen Charlottes Hospital in London, and has also a chair in the Charit\u00e9 University of Berlin. Professor Fotopoulou was the leading consultant and vice director of the Department of Gynaecology at the Charit\u00e9 in Berlin, one of the largest accredited centres for gynaecological cancer in Germany. Her principal area of clinical practice relates to ultra-radical surgery for advanced and relapsed ovarian cancer and advanced gynaecological malignancies, as well as reconstructive surgery in oncologic patients. She is active in numerous national and international gynaecological oncological societies including leading the guidelines group of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society (BGCS). She is part of the ESGO accreditation committee for gynaecological cancer centres in Europe and also since September November 2017 member of the ESGO council.

Jane Norman<\/strong> is Professor of Maternal and Fetal Health, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Reproductive Health in the University of Edinburgh. She is also the Director of the Edinburgh Tommy's Centre, which aims to conduct world class research that will have a direct impact on the health of pregnant women and their babies and to translate research into improved health outcomes both locally and worldwide.<\/p> \n

Professor Normans research work focuses on the pregnancy \u201cstressors\u201d of obesity, maternal depression\/stress, inflammation and hypoxia. These pregnancy stressors are largely responsible for the clinical conditions of gestational diabetes, preterm birth and stillbirth, all of which have devastating effects on pregnant women and their babies. Professor Normans group aims to understand how these pregnancy stressors cause these clinical conditions and to develop preventive and therapeutic strategies, using methods from basic science and animal models to clinical trials and population based research.<\/p> \n

Dr Lale Say <\/b>is a medical doctor (Istanbul University) and epidemiologist (Edinburgh University) who has worked at the Department of Reproductive Health and Research at the World Health Organization since 2002. She works on international health, with focus on sexual and reproductive health, adolescents, and vulnerable population. Dr. Say leads monitoring and measurement of sexual and reproductive health indicators including the Millennium Development Goal 5 (Improve Maternal Health) and monitoring progress in implementation of Global Reproductive Health Strategy. Dr. Say has published extensively on various aspects of sexual and reproductive health, maternal and perinatal health including systematic reviews. <\/p> \n

Before joining WHO, She worked at the Ministry of Health in Turkey with managing and implementing health programs, and at the Istanbul Medical School with clinical, research and teaching responsibilities. <\/p> \n
